My First Year of Seminary
It is hard to believe, but I have already finished my first year of Priestly Formation at Conception Seminary College. One of the biggest surprises has been the level of commitment that many people put into training men for the priesthood. I have been simply overwhelmed with their devotion to the Church and their steadfast faith that they are building up the Kingdom of God on a daily basis. I am so grateful for their sacrafice.
This summer, I have been assigned to work at a Catholic Camp located in the rural town of Wellston, Oklahoma. I will be on the Missions Team and will be leading Morning and Evening Prayer, assisting any visiting priests that come to offer Mass, and will do various other support things for the staff and the campers. I am looking forward to meeting many new people and sharing my experience of being a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. It should be a fun Summer!
